Daily trade screens

Five strategies, refreshed every trading day. Every idea shows exactly what the trade is — what you collect, what you risk, and what has to happen for it to work. No black boxes, no hype.

Free while we launch. Full trade ideas will soon move behind a member login — free accounts keep one idea per category, plus one archived idea per day.

Loading today's screens…

Screens update each trading day. Some days a strategy simply has nothing worth showing — we publish that too. Ideas are informational only — see disclaimer below.

How the screens work

The same process runs every morning before the market opens.

1

Scan the universe

We scan a broad universe of liquid stocks, ETFs, and futures markets for options worth selling — puts, calls, spreads, and strangles.

2

Price every candidate

Each candidate is priced against live option quotes. We only consider trades that pay fairly for the risk taken — thin premium gets cut immediately.

3

Keep the best, publish the rest honestly

The strongest ideas make the board. Ideas that are good but don't make the cut, and days when nothing passes, are part of the record — not hidden.

4

Manage what we hold

Open positions are reviewed continuously: profits are taken at half the premium collected, losers are cut at defined levels, and nothing is nursed past its expiration window.

Our approach

Two halves of one barbell: income from futures premium, compounding from equities.

Futures premium income

Short strangles across equity indices, energy, metals, grains, FX, and rates. Entries target 40–50 days to expiration; we take profit at half the premium collected and exit at 21 days regardless. Strikes are always placed outside the market's expected move.

Equity income overlay

Cash-secured puts to acquire shares at a discount, covered calls against shares we own, and defined-risk put spreads for income with a hard cap on losses. Every idea on this page comes from that same screening.

Long-run compounding

Long-dated calls (LEAPS) for multi-year upside exposure with strictly limited risk. The income engine funds the compounding engine — the business, like the book, is built to last.

Risk discipline

Returns come from the process. The process starts with what we refuse to risk.

About

Yield and Growth LLC is a Tennessee company built around one idea: markets pay you for bearing risk you understand and managing it with rules. Our futures program is fully systematic — entries, profit targets, and exits are defined before a trade is placed, not improvised afterward. The setups our five daily screens surface are published here in plain English, so anyone can see exactly what a disciplined premium-selling process looks like in practice.

Questions

Is this financial advice?

No. Everything here is informational — a window into our own screening process. Trade ideas are not recommendations, and nothing on this site is an offer to buy or sell anything.

What is a short strangle?

Selling a put and a call on the same market and expiry. You collect premium on both sides and profit as time passes, as long as the market stays between your two strikes. Risk is highest if the market makes a large move in either direction.

How often do the screens update?

Every trading day, in the morning before the market opens. Futures strangles refresh alongside the equity screens.

Why are some tabs empty?

Because some days nothing passes. A screen that always has ideas is a screen with no standards — we'd rather show an honest empty tab than a forced trade.

What do "Strong" and "Solid" mean?

A qualitative read on how attractive an idea looks relative to everything else we screened that day. Strong ideas are the standouts; Solid ideas are good but not exceptional. Neither is a guarantee of profit.

Can I copy these trades?

You can see exactly what each trade is — strikes, expiry, premium, and capital required are all on the card. But options and futures carry substantial risk of loss, including losses exceeding your initial investment. Understand the trade, size it for your own account, and talk to a licensed professional before you trade.
